This oil is steam distilled from gum resin and is known as Olibanum, from the French word for "luxuriant". Among its many uses, Frankincense is popularly used in aromatherapy due to its calming properties, is employed for facial toning, and can be used to prevent wrinkles and stretch marks in cosmetics.
